Well, it WILL work if you use the EMPCD device. I know, I use it. What are
your specs (What address is the CDROM, what Amiga do you have, what file
system are you using to access the CDROM from the Amiga, Do you have the
file filters for the Mac side in the extensions folder)?

I would strongly discourage this. Hot switching SCSI is not recommended
without some kind of buffer. I have seen hardware for the mac which allows
hot-switching. If you want to be safe, check this out.
